Sandra Sassine

Sandra Sassine, born on September twenty-eighth, nineteen seventy-nine, in Chibougamau, Quebec, is a distinguished Canadian fencer known for her prowess in the sport of sabre. Her journey in fencing has been marked by significant achievements, including her participation in two Olympic Games.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Sassine showcased her skills in both individual and team sabre events. Competing in the women's individual sabre, she faced off against Elvira Wood in the first round, securing a victory before being eliminated in the second round by the eventual gold medalist, Mariel Zagunis. Ultimately, she placed twenty-eighth overall in the individual event.
