Sanjay Gandhi

Sanjay Gandhi, born on December fourteenth, nineteen forty-six, was a prominent Indian politician and the younger son of Indira Gandhi and Feroze Gandhi. His political career was marked by his membership in the Lok Sabha, where he was seen as a key figure in the Indian National Congress.

Throughout his life, Sanjay was widely regarded as the likely successor to his mother, Indira Gandhi, both as the leader of the Indian National Congress and as the Prime Minister of India. However, his untimely death in a plane crash altered the course of Indian politics, paving the way for his elder brother, Rajiv Gandhi, to inherit the political mantle following their mother's assassination.

In addition to his political legacy, Sanjay Gandhi's family continues to be influential in Indian politics. His wife, Maneka Gandhi, and their son, Varun Gandhi, are active members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, contributing to the ongoing political discourse in the country.
