Santi Denia

Santiago Denia Sánchez, known simply as Santi, was born on March 9, 1974. He is a former professional footballer from Spain who made his mark as a central defender. Over the course of his career, he played in 297 La Liga matches spanning eleven seasons, during which he scored eight goals. His notable stints included playing for Albacete and Atlético Madrid, where he celebrated a league championship victory in 1996.

Transitioning from player to coach, Denia embarked on his managerial career in 2010. He has since taken the helm of various youth teams in Spain, showcasing his commitment to developing the next generation of football talent. His coaching prowess was highlighted when he led a team to win the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
