Santiago Arias, born on January thirteenth, nineteen ninety-two, is a distinguished Colombian professional footballer renowned for his role as a right-back. Currently, he showcases his talents at Independiente in the Argentine Primera División and represents the Colombia national team on the international stage.

Arias embarked on his football journey with La Equidad before making a significant move to Sporting CP in Portugal in two thousand eleven. His career took a remarkable turn in two thousand thirteen when he joined PSV in the Netherlands, where he celebrated three Eredivisie titles and two Johan Cruyff Shield trophies. His exceptional performance earned him the title of Eredivisie Player of the Year for the two thousand seventeen to eighteen season.
