Santigold

Santi White, known to the world as Santigold, was born on September 25, 1976. An American singer and songwriter, she has made a significant impact on the music industry with her unique blend of genres, including dub, new wave, and hip hop. Her debut studio album, Santogold, released in two thousand eight by Atlantic Records, received widespread acclaim and showcased her innovative sound. The album's second single, 'L.E.S. Artistes', achieved notable success, reaching the top forty of the UK Singles Chart.

Following her debut, Santigold released her second album, Master of My Make-Believe, in two thousand twelve. This album continued to build on her success, peaking at number twenty-one on the Billboard 200.
