Sara Evans, born on February fifth, nineteen seventy-one, is a celebrated American country music singer and songwriter. Hailing from New Franklin, Missouri, she began her musical journey performing with her siblings in The Evans Family Band, captivating local audiences throughout her childhood and teenage years. In the early nineties, she and her brother Matt ventured to Nashville to pursue a career in country music, where she would soon find her footing in the industry.
In Nashville, Evans met her first husband, Craig Schelske, and briefly relocated to Aumsville, Oregon, before returning to the vibrant music scene of Nashville.
