Sara Gross, born on March twenty-sixth, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished former professional triathlete who represented Great Britain while hailing from Canada. Her early years were spent in Kitchener, Ontario, and Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, where she developed a passion for sports that would later define her career.

In two thousand five, Gross achieved a significant milestone by winning the ITU European Long Distance Triathlon in Säter, Sweden, showcasing her exceptional skills in a grueling event that included four kilometers of swimming, one hundred twenty kilometers of cycling, and thirty kilometers of running. Her prowess continued to shine in two thousand fourteen when she clinched victories at two Ironman Triathlon events: Ironman Brazil and Ironman Mont-Tremblant.

After retiring from professional triathlon in two thousand sixteen, Gross shifted her focus to a media career, where she has made a notable impact. She co-founded TriEqual, an NGO dedicated to promoting fairness and equality for women in triathlon, and serves as its President. Additionally, she established Mercury Rising Triathlon, a performance-based club in Victoria, British Columbia, where she also worked as a triathlon coach.

She attended Dollar Academy in Scotland for high school and later pursued her higher education at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, earning both a bachelor's and master's degree.
