Sara Isaković

Sara Isaković, born on June ninth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a retired Slovenian swimmer renowned for her remarkable achievements in the pool. She made her Olympic debut at the twenty-fourth Summer Olympics in Athens in two thousand four, showcasing her talent on an international stage.

Her most notable accomplishment came during the two thousand eight Beijing Olympics, where at the age of twenty, she secured a silver medal in the two hundred meter freestyle. With a stunning time of one minute fifty-four point ninety-seven seconds, Isaković became the second woman in history to break the one minute fifty-five second barrier, following the legendary Federica Pellegrini.

This achievement remains a significant milestone in Slovenian sports history, as it is the only Olympic swimming medal ever won for Slovenia.
