Sarah Attar

Sarah Attar, born on August 27, 1992, is a trailblazing Saudi-American middle-distance runner who made history at the 2012 Summer Olympics. As one of the first two female Olympians representing Saudi Arabia, she broke barriers and inspired countless young athletes around the world.

Despite having lived her entire life in the United States, Attar holds dual citizenship through her father, who was born in Saudi Arabia.
