Sarah Fillier, born on June ninth, two thousand, is a prominent Canadian ice hockey player known for her exceptional skills as a forward. She currently plays for the Canada women's national ice hockey team and the New York Sirens in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).
Fillier's international career is marked by remarkable achievements, including winning Olympic gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics, where she showcased her scoring prowess by finishing second in tournament scoring with eight goals. Additionally, she has earned five medals at the IIHF Women's World Championship, comprising three gold medals in 2021, 2022, and 2024, along with two silver medals in 2023 and 2025. Notably, she was named tournament MVP and Best Forward at the 2023 World Championship, despite Canada finishing with a silver medal.
Before her professional career, Fillier played college ice hockey for the Princeton Tigers, where she made a significant impact by recording ninety-three goals and one hundred ninety-four points over one hundred twenty games.
