Šarūnas Jasikevičius

Šarūnas Jasikevičius, born on March fifth, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished Lithuanian basketball coach and former player, currently serving as the head coach for Fenerbahçe Beko in the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi and the EuroLeague. Standing at six feet four inches tall, he played primarily as a point guard, a position in which he has often been regarded as one of the finest Lithuanian and European players in history.

Throughout his illustrious playing career, Jasikevičius earned numerous accolades, including being a two-time All-EuroLeague First Team selection and the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in two thousand five. He made history as the first player in EuroLeague to win the championship with three different clubs and was recognized as the MVP of the Israeli Basketball Premier League in the same year.

On the international stage, he represented the Lithuanian men's national team, securing a gold medal at the two thousand three EuroBasket, where he was also named to the All-EuroBasket Team and received MVP honors. Additionally, he contributed to his team's success with a bronze medal at the two thousand Summer Olympic Games and another bronze at the two thousand seven EuroBasket.

In two thousand fifteen, Jasikevičius was celebrated as a EuroLeague Basketball Legend, a testament to his remarkable playing career. As a coach, he has continued to achieve success, winning both the Liga ACB and the Spanish Cup with Barcelona, as well as the Turkish Basketball League and Turkish Cup with Fenerbahçe. Notably, he led Fenerbahçe to a EuroLeague title in two thousand twenty-five and achieved victory in the Lithuanian League with Zalgiris, showcasing his dual prowess as both a player and a coach.
