Sasha Kaun, born on May eighth, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished former professional basketball player from Russia. His basketball journey began in the United States, where he showcased his talent at the University of Kansas. Over four seasons, he not only honed his skills but also contributed to the team's success, culminating in an NCAA championship victory in two thousand eight.

Following his collegiate success, Kaun entered the professional arena when he was selected as the fifty-sixth overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the two thousand eight NBA draft. His career took him back to Russia, where he played for seven seasons with the renowned CSKA Moscow, further establishing his reputation in the sport.

In two thousand fifteen, Kaun made a significant return to the United States, joining the Cleveland Cavaliers for his only NBA season.
