Scott Baird

Scott Baird, born on May seventh, nineteen fifty-one, is a distinguished American curler and curling coach. He made history at the twenty-sixth Winter Olympics in 2006, becoming the oldest American athlete to compete at the age of fifty-four. Although he served as the alternate for Pete Fenson's U.S. team and did not throw a stone during the competition, Baird's contribution was recognized with a bronze medal.

His impressive curling career includes skipping the U.S. team at three World Championship events in nineteen seventy-nine, nineteen ninety-three, and nineteen ninety-four, where he secured a bronze medal in the latter.
