Currently, he serves as the head coach of Aberdeen Women in the Scottish Women's Premier League 1, showcasing his commitment to developing women's football.
Booth's playing career began at Aberdeen, where he made his mark as a forward during his teenage years. In nineteen ninety-seven, he took a significant step by moving to Germany to join Borussia Dortmund. His journey continued in the Netherlands with FC Twente, alongside loan spells at FC Utrecht and Vitesse Arnhem, before returning to Aberdeen in two thousand three.
