Scott McDonald

Scott McDonald, born on August 21, 1983, in Dandenong, Australia, is a distinguished former professional footballer who has transitioned into coaching. Currently, he serves as the head coach for the National Premier Leagues club Gold Coast Knights. McDonald began his senior football career with Gippsland Falcons in the National Soccer League, showcasing his talent as a striker and later as an attacking midfielder.

In 2001, McDonald made the pivotal move to Great Britain, where he played for several clubs, including a notable stint at Southampton in the Premier League. His career also flourished in Scotland, where he represented prominent teams such as Celtic and Motherwell, further solidifying his reputation in the sport.
