He has made significant contributions to the sport, particularly as a long-time second for the renowned Randy Ferbey rink from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand ten. During his tenure with Team Ferbey, Pfeifer celebrated remarkable victories, including four Brier titles and three World championships.
Before joining Team Ferbey, Pfeifer showcased his talent by winning the Canadian Junior Curling Championships and the World Junior Curling Championships in nineteen ninety-four as a second for Colin Davison. He continued to excel in junior curling, winning his second national junior championship in nineteen ninety-seven while throwing fourth stones for Ryan Keane. His competitive spirit led him to become the Shamrock Poor Boy champion in nineteen ninety-eight.
