Steiner gained fame for his remarkable tenure in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he became a household name. He has also showcased his talents in various other wrestling promotions, including Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP), World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA, later known as Impact Wrestling), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).

Throughout his career, Scott Steiner has achieved remarkable success, holding the title of world champion four times. His accolades include being a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time WWA World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time WWA World Heavyweight Champion (Indianapolis version). In the late 1980s and 1990s, Steiner formed a legendary tag team with his older brother Rick, known as The Steiner Brothers.
