Seamus Thomas Harris O'Regan Jr., born on January 18, 1971, is a prominent Canadian politician and former cabinet minister who has made significant contributions to the government of Justin Trudeau. A member of the Liberal Party, O'Regan first entered the political arena in 2015, representing the St. John's South—Mount Pearl constituency in the House of Commons.
His political career saw him appointed to various cabinet positions, including Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence from 2017 to 2019, and Minister of Natural Resources from 2019 to 2021. O'Regan also served as Minister of Indigenous Services in 2019 and held the role of Minister of Labour from October twenty-six, 2021, until his resignation on July nineteen, 2024.
