Sean Kingston

Kisean Paul Anderson, widely recognized as Sean Kingston, was born on February 3, 1990, in Miami, Florida. Raised in Jamaica, Kingston's musical journey began when he signed with J. R. Rotem's Beluga Heights Records in 2007. His debut single, 'Beautiful Girls,' quickly climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, marking a significant milestone in his career. This track served as the lead single for his self-titled debut studio album, which reached number six on the Billboard 200 and included the popular follow-up single 'Take You There.'

Following the success of his first album, Kingston released his second project, 'Tomorrow,' in 2009. Although it did not achieve the same commercial success, it featured the hit single 'Fire Burning,' which reached the top five on the charts. His third album, 'Back 2 Life,' released in 2013, failed to chart but included the moderate hit 'Beat It,' featuring collaborations with Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa.

In addition to his music career, Kingston ventured into the business side of the industry by launching his own record label, Time Is Money Entertainment, in 2010. This label became a platform for emerging artists, including the then-unknown Canadian singer Tory Lanez.

However, Kingston's life took a dramatic turn when he and his mother were indicted on federal wire fraud charges in July 2024. Following a conviction in March 2025, his mother received a five-year prison sentence on July 23, 2025, while Kingston was sentenced to three and a half years in prison on August 15, 2025.
