Sean Spicer

Sean Spicer, born on September twenty-third, nineteen seventy-one, is a prominent American political commentator and former naval officer. He gained national recognition as the thirtieth White House Press Secretary and White House Communications Director under President Donald Trump in two thousand seventeen. Prior to this role, Spicer served as the communications director for the Republican National Committee from two thousand eleven to two thousand seventeen, and as its chief strategist from two thousand fifteen to two thousand seventeen.

During his time as Press Secretary, Spicer became known for his controversial statements and contentious relationship with the White House press corps. His tenure was marked by a notable incident on January twenty-first, two thousand seventeen, when he asserted that the crowds at Trump's inauguration were the largest ever, a claim that was met with widespread criticism and led to the term 'alternative facts' being coined by Trump aide Kellyanne Conway.

Spicer resigned from his position on July twenty-first, two thousand seventeen, but continued to work at the White House in an unspecified role until August thirty-first. As of two thousand twenty-six, he remains the most recent male to have held the position of White House Press Secretary.
