Sebastián Eguren

Sebastián Eguren, born on January eighth, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished Uruguayan football manager and former professional player, renowned for his role as a defensive midfielder. His football journey commenced in nineteen ninety-nine with Montevideo Wanderers, where he laid the foundation for a remarkable career that spanned across several countries.

Throughout his playing days, Eguren showcased his talents in various leagues, including those in Norway, Sweden, Spain, Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. His versatility and skill on the field earned him a total of fifty-seven caps for the Uruguayan national team from two thousand one to two thousand thirteen. Notably, he represented Uruguay in the two thousand ten FIFA World Cup and participated in two Copa América tournaments, celebrating victory in the two thousand eleven edition.
