Sébastien Gagnon

Sébastien Gagnon, born on May twenty-first, nineteen seventy-three, in Metabetchouan, Quebec, is a multifaceted Canadian professional known for his diverse career as a politician, paratrooper, executive director, and entrepreneur.

His political journey began when he was elected as a member of the Bloc Québécois in a by-election in two thousand two, representing the riding of Lac-Saint-Jean—Saguenay. Gagnon successfully secured re-election in the two thousand four federal election for the riding of Jonquière—Alma, where he served as the Bloc critic for Regional Development and Children and Youth. However, his political career faced a setback when he was defeated in the two thousand six federal election.
