Sébastien Pilote

Sébastien Pilote, born in 1973, is a distinguished Canadian film director and screenwriter known for his compelling storytelling and unique cinematic vision. His notable work includes the acclaimed film 'The Dismantling' (Le Démantèlement), which earned him nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay at the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards in 2013.

Before his success with 'The Dismantling', Pilote directed the short film 'Dust Bowl Ha! Ha!' in 2007, showcasing his early talent in the film industry. He followed this with the feature film 'The Salesman' in 2011, further establishing his reputation as a skilled filmmaker.

In addition to his directorial achievements, Pilote has contributed to the Canadian film community through his work with Télé-Québec.
