Sep Vanmarcke, born on July twenty-eighth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished Belgian former professional road racing cyclist. His career spanned from two thousand eight to two thousand twenty-three, during which he showcased his talents with several teams, including Jong Vlaanderen–Bauknecht, Topsport Vlaanderen–Mercator, LottoNL–Jumbo, EF Pro Cycling, and Israel–Premier Tech.
Throughout his impressive career, Vanmarcke achieved nine notable victories, marking his presence in the cycling world. Among his triumphs are the prestigious Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in two thousand twelve, the Bretagne Classic Ouest-France in two thousand nineteen, and the Maryland Cycling Classic in two thousand twenty-two, all of which highlight his competitive spirit and skill.
Unfortunately, Vanmarcke was compelled to retire from professional cycling due to medical reasons. However, his passion for the sport did not wane.
