Sergei Udaltsov

Sergei Udaltsov, born on February sixteenth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a prominent Russian left-wing political activist known for his fervent opposition to the current political regime. As the unofficial leader of the Vanguard of Red Youth (AKM), he has played a significant role in shaping the discourse around youth activism in Russia.

Udaltsov gained national attention during the protests of two thousand eleven and two thousand twelve, where he was instrumental in organizing demonstrations against Vladimir Putin's government. In two thousand fourteen, Udaltsov faced severe repercussions for his activism when he was sentenced to four and a half years in a penal camp.
