Sergey Bida

Sergey Bida, born on February thirteenth, nineteen ninety-three, is a distinguished Russian left-handed épée fencer. His remarkable talent and dedication to the sport propelled him to the pinnacle of fencing, achieving the coveted rank of number one in the world during both two thousand nineteen and two thousand twenty.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bida has made significant contributions to team competitions, earning the title of three-time European épée team champion. His prowess was further showcased on the global stage when he secured a silver medal as part of the épée team at the two thousand twenty-one Olympic Games.

In June two thousand twenty-three, Sergey made a pivotal move to the United States, accompanied by his wife, Violetta Bida, who is also an accomplished Olympic épée fencer. This transition marks a new chapter in his career as he continues to represent USA Fencing.
