Sergey Khachatryan

Sergey Khachatryan, born on April 5, 1985, in Yerevan, Armenia, is a distinguished violinist whose artistry has captivated audiences worldwide. At the tender age of nine, he showcased his exceptional talent by performing his first orchestral concert in the Kurhaus, Wiesbaden, after relocating to Germany in 1993.

Khachatryan's remarkable journey in music led him to make his New York City debut on August 4, 2006. He performed the iconic Beethoven Violin Concerto at Avery Fisher Hall, under the esteemed direction of conductor Osmo Vänskä, marking a significant milestone in his career.

In June 2013, he further solidified his reputation as a leading violinist by performing Shostakovich's first Violin Concerto with the Seattle Symphony, conducted by Ludovic Morlot. This performance highlighted his profound interpretative skills and technical prowess, earning him acclaim from critics and audiences alike.
