Sergey Sobyanin

Sergey Sobyanin, born on June twenty-first, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Russian politician and statesperson, currently serving as the third mayor of Moscow since October twenty-first, two thousand ten. His political career has been marked by significant roles, including serving as the governor of Tyumen Oblast from two thousand one to two thousand five, and as the Head of the presidential administration from two thousand five to two thousand eight. He also held the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia in Vladimir Putin's Second Cabinet from two thousand eight to two thousand ten.

A member of the ruling United Russia political party, Sobyanin has been actively involved in its higher governing bodies. He served as a member of the presidium of the Regional Council of the United Russia in Moscow and was the head of the party's Moscow branch from March two thousand eleven to December two thousand twelve. His close association with influential figures, such as billionaire businessman Vladimir Bogdanov, Director General of Surgutneftegas, has further solidified his standing in Russian politics.
