Serhii Sternenko

Serhii Sternenko, born on March twentieth, nineteen ninety-five, is a prominent Ukrainian social activist, lawyer, and YouTuber. As of two thousand twenty-five, his YouTube channel boasts over two million subscribers, showcasing his influence as a vlogger and public figure. He is the head of the non-government organization Nebayduzhi, which focuses on civic engagement and activism.

In addition to his role at Nebayduzhi, Sternenko is one of the founders of the People's Lustration and has served as a board member and head of the Odesa regional branch of Right Sector, a coalition known for its ultranationalist and far-right elements. His activism gained significant traction during the Revolution of Dignity, particularly during the Odesa clashes in two thousand fourteen.

Sternenko's life has been marked by danger; he has survived four assassination attempts, with the third attempt in two thousand eighteen bringing him into the media spotlight. This manhunt is believed to have been orchestrated by supporters of pro-Russian groups. During the incident, one of his attackers was killed, while the other fled abroad, leading to Sternenko facing accusations of exceeding self-defense limits.

Despite being formally charged with premeditated murder and illegal possession of weapons, the senior prosecutor in the case, Andrii Radionov, refused to sign the charges, citing bias in the evidence presented. The case has attracted significant media attention, prompting hundreds of activists to rally in support of Sternenko outside the court, necessitating a large police presence to maintain order.
