Serhiy Rebrov, born on June third, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished Ukrainian football manager and former professional player, renowned for his role as a striker. He currently serves as the head coach of the Ukraine national team, a position he assumed in two thousand twenty-three, leading the team to qualification for UEFA Euro twenty twenty-four.
Rebrov rose to prominence in the 1990s as a formidable attacking partner of Andriy Shevchenko at Dynamo Kyiv. His exceptional skills on the field earned him international acclaim, and as of August two thousand seventeen, he shares the title of all-time top scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League with Maksim Shatskikh.
His international career began in nineteen ninety-two, during which he represented Ukraine seventy-five times and scored fifteen goals. Notably, he participated in Ukraine's inaugural World Cup appearance in two thousand six, marking a significant milestone in his career.
