Servet Tazegül

Servet Tazegül, born on September twenty-sixth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished Turkish taekwondo athlete of Azerbaijani descent, renowned for his exceptional skills in the featherweight division.

His remarkable journey in taekwondo reached a significant milestone at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed in the men's sixty-eight kilogram class and secured a bronze medal, showcasing his talent on the world stage.

Four years later, Tazegül made his mark again at the 2012 Summer Olympics, triumphing in the final against Iran's Mohammad Bagheri Motamed with a narrow score of six to five, earning the coveted gold medal and solidifying his status as a champion.

In addition to his Olympic success, Tazegül also demonstrated his prowess at the 2013 Mediterranean Games held in Mersin, Turkey, where he clinched another bronze medal in the sixty-eight kilogram event, further enhancing his impressive athletic resume.
