Sevdaliza

Sevda Alizadeh, known to the world as Sevdaliza, is a multifaceted artist born on September 1, 1987, in Iran. She has made a significant impact as a singer-songwriter, record producer, visual artist, and director, blending her diverse cultural heritage into her work. Sevdaliza's artistry is characterized by her unique sound and thought-provoking lyrics, which often explore themes of identity and social issues.

In 2015, she made her mark in the music industry with the release of two EPs, 'The Suspended Kid' and 'Children of Silk.' These projects showcased her innovative approach to music and set the stage for her future endeavors. Sevdaliza's commitment to her roots is evident in her work; in early 2017, she released her first Persian-language song, 'Bebin,' as a response to Executive Order 13769, highlighting her dedication to social justice.

Her debut album, 'ISON,' was released on April 26, 2017, through her own label, Twisted Elegance. This album further established her as a prominent figure in the music scene. Following this success, she continued to evolve her sound with the release of a third EP, 'The Calling,' in 2018, and her second studio album, 'Shabrang,' in 2020, both of which received critical acclaim.
