Seyi Olofinjana

Seyi Olofinjana, born on June 30, 1980, is a former professional footballer from Nigeria who made his mark as a talented midfielder. His journey in football began with local clubs Crown and Kwara United, where he honed his skills before making the leap to Europe.

Olofinjana's career took a significant turn when he joined the Norwegian side SK Brann. His impressive performances over two seasons caught the attention of scouts, leading him to the English football scene with Wolverhampton Wanderers. At Molineux, he quickly established himself as a key player, amassing a remarkable two hundred and thirteen appearances over four seasons.

In August 2008, Olofinjana made a high-profile move to Premier League club Stoke City for a fee of three million pounds. However, his time at Stoke was brief, as he played only during the 2008–09 season before transferring to another top-flight team, Hull City, for the same fee of three million pounds.
