Seypidin Azizi, born on March twelfth, nineteen fifteen, was a prominent Chinese politician, revolutionary, and educator. An ethnic Uyghur hailing from the far-western border city of Tacheng, also known as Qoqek, he played a pivotal role in the political landscape of Xinjiang.

Azizi is best remembered for his groundbreaking tenure as the first chairman of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Government. His influence extended beyond regional politics, as he held significant national positions, including Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Vice Chairperson of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Before the establishment of the People's Republic of China in nineteen forty-nine, Seypidin Azizi emerged as a progressive leader during the Ili Rebellion, which aimed to create an independent East Turkestan. His commitment to education was evident during his time as the education minister of the Second East Turkestan Republic from nineteen forty-five to nineteen forty-six, and he was an active member of the East Turkestan Revolutionary Party's central executive committee from nineteen forty-six to nineteen forty-seven.
