Shafi Goldwasser

Shafi Goldwasser, born on November fourteenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Israeli-American computer scientist renowned for her groundbreaking contributions to cryptography and computer science. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of RSA Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she inspires the next generation of innovators.

In addition to her role at MIT, Goldwasser serves as a professor of mathematical sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Her academic leadership extends to her previous position as the director of the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing, where she fostered collaboration and research in theoretical computer science.

Goldwasser is also a co-founder and chief scientist of Duality Technologies, a company that focuses on advancing the field of cryptography.
