Shahram Nazeri

Shahram Nazeri, born on February eighteenth, nineteen fifty-two, is a distinguished contemporary Iranian tenor hailing from Kermanshah, Iran. With Kurdish roots, he has made significant contributions to the realms of Sufi music, classical, and traditional Kurdish and Persian music. His unique vocal style and profound interpretations have captivated audiences, establishing him as a prominent figure in the music scene.

Throughout his illustrious career, Nazeri has collaborated with some of the most revered masters of Iranian traditional music, including Jalil Shahnaz, Hossein Alizadeh, Jalal Zolfonoun, Parviz Meshkatian, and Faramarz Payvar. These collaborations have enriched his musical journey, allowing him to blend various influences and create a distinctive sound that resonates with listeners.

Notably, Nazeri was the pioneer in integrating Rumi's poetry into Persian music, thereby forging a new tradition of Sufi music that bridges both Persian classical and Kurdish musical styles.
