Shakur Stevenson

Shakur Stevenson, born on June 28, 1997, is a prominent American professional boxer who has made a significant mark in the sport. His journey began in the amateur ranks, where he proudly represented the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics, securing a silver medal in the bantamweight division.

Stevenson's professional career took off in October 2019 when he claimed his first major world title by defeating Joet Gonzalez for the vacant WBO featherweight title. His prowess in the ring continued to shine as he captured the WBO super featherweight title two years later, later unifying it with the WBC and The Ring super featherweight titles after a notable victory over Óscar Valdez.

In November 2023, Stevenson achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the vacant WBC lightweight title, becoming the eighth boxer in history to hold three world championships across different divisions while also being an Olympic medalist.
