Shania Twain

Shania Twain, born on August 28, 1965, in Timmins, Ontario, is a celebrated Canadian country singer and songwriter. From an early age, she demonstrated a passion for music, leading her to pursue a career in singing and songwriting. Twain's journey took a significant turn when she signed with Mercury Nashville Records in the early 1990s, although her self-titled debut album released in 1993 did not achieve commercial success.

Her collaboration with producer Robert John 'Mutt' Lange, who later became her husband, marked the beginning of her rise to fame. The release of her second studio album, The Woman in Me, in 1995, catapulted her into the spotlight, selling over twenty million copies worldwide and earning her a Grammy Award. This album featured hit singles such as 'Any Man of Mine' and established her as a leading figure in the country-pop crossover movement of the 1990s.

Twain's third album, Come On Over, released in 1997, became a monumental success, selling over forty million copies globally.
