Shannon Briggs, born on December fourth, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished American former professional boxer, actor, and kickboxer. His boxing career spanned from nineteen ninety-two to two thousand sixteen, during which he made a significant impact in the heavyweight division.

Known by his nickname 'the Cannon', Briggs was celebrated for his exceptional punching power and aggressive fighting style. He held the prestigious lineal heavyweight title from nineteen ninety-seven to nineteen ninety-eight and claimed the World Boxing Organization (WBO) heavyweight title from two thousand six to two thousand seven.
