Shawn Spears, born on February nineteenth, nineteen eighty-one, is a professional wrestler known for his dynamic career spanning over two decades. He began his journey in the wrestling world on the independent circuit in two thousand two, where he honed his skills and developed his persona.

In two thousand six, Spears made his debut in WWE, where he spent several years working in developmental territories such as Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling. He briefly appeared on the main roster under the name Gavin Spears before his release in two thousand nine. Following this, he returned to the independent scene, showcasing his talent and versatility.

In two thousand thirteen, Spears rejoined WWE, this time under the ring name Tye Dillinger. His popularity soared, leading to his promotion to the main roster in April two thousand seventeen, where he competed on the SmackDown brand until his second release in February two thousand nineteen.

After leaving WWE, Spears signed with All Elite Wrestling in May two thousand nineteen, reclaiming his original ring name. He became a prominent figure in AEW, participating in events from its inaugural show, Double or Nothing, in two thousand nineteen through to two thousand twenty-three. Following the expiration of his AEW contract at the end of two thousand twenty-three, Spears made a return to WWE in February two thousand twenty-four, once again joining the NXT brand while retaining his Shawn Spears character.
