Shefki Kuqi

Shefki Kuqi, born on November tenth, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished figure in the world of football, both as a former player and a coach. Hailing from Kosovo, he spent his formative years in Finland, where he developed his passion for the sport. Kuqi is best known for his role as a striker, showcasing his skills across various clubs in the English football league system.

Throughout his career, Kuqi made significant contributions to teams such as Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Swansea City, and Oldham Athletic. With over five hundred league appearances and more than one hundred fifty goals to his name, he has left an indelible mark on the game.

Despite his Yugoslavian roots, Kuqi embraced his Finnish upbringing, which enabled him to represent the Finland national team.
