Sheikh Said, born around eighteen sixty-five in Hınıs or Palu, emerged as a prominent Zaza Kurd religious leader and a key figure in the Naqshbandi order. His lineage was steeped in religious significance, with his grandfather, Sheikh Ali, being a respected leader whose grave attracted thousands of pilgrims. This influential background laid the foundation for Sheikh Said's future endeavors.

Educated in religious sciences at the madrasa run by his father, Sheikh Mahmud Fevzi, Sheikh Said further honed his knowledge under various Islamic scholars in the region. Following the death of his father, he ascended to the leadership of the religious community, continuing the legacy of his family's commitment to spiritual guidance.

In nineteen hundred and seven, Sheikh Said embarked on a significant journey, touring neighboring provinces in the east. This expedition allowed him to establish vital connections with officers from the Hamidiye cavalry, further solidifying his influence and role within the community.
