Sheldon Kennedy

He made his mark in the National Hockey League (NHL) playing for teams such as the Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, and Calgary Flames. Kennedy was drafted by the Red Wings in the fourth round of the nineteen eighty-eight NHL entry draft while showcasing his skills with the Swift Current Broncos in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

During his time in the WHL, Kennedy played a pivotal role in leading the Broncos to victory in the nineteen eighty-nine Memorial Cup, earning a spot on the tournament all-star team.
