She gained prominence in the wrestling world through her captivating performances in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where she showcased her skills under the ring names Ariel and Salinas, respectively.

Martinez embarked on her wrestling journey in December two thousand, primarily competing in the independent circuit across Southern California. Under the ring name Desire, she made a name for herself in various promotions, including Revolution Pro Wrestling and Ultimate Pro Wrestling. Her big break came in April two thousand five when she signed with WWE, where she was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, eventually transitioning to the ECW brand in mid-two thousand six.

During her time in WWE, Martinez adopted the persona of a tarot reader, managing wrestler Kevin Thorn as Ariel.
