Shen Xue, born on November thirteenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a celebrated Chinese retired pair skater who has left an indelible mark on the world of figure skating. Alongside her husband, Zhao Hongbo, she achieved remarkable success, becoming the 2010 Olympic champion and securing bronze medals at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics.

Shen and Zhao's partnership is historic; they were the first Chinese pair team to earn a medal at an International Skating Union event and at the World Figure Skating Championships. Their groundbreaking victory in 2002 made them the first Chinese pair skating team to win a World Championship, paving the way for future generations of skaters.

In addition to their Olympic triumph, Shen and Zhao are three-time World champions, having claimed titles in two thousand two, two thousand three, and two thousand seven. They also excelled at the Four Continents Championships, winning three titles in nineteen ninety-nine, two thousand three, and two thousand seven, as well as six Grand Prix Final championships between nineteen ninety-eight and two thousand nine.

Their crowning achievement came in 2010 when they became the first Chinese skaters to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympic Games in any figure skating category, effectively ending decades of Russian and Soviet dominance in pair skating.
