Sherwin Badger, born on August 29, 1901, in Boston, Massachusetts, was a prominent American figure skater who made significant contributions to the sport as both an athlete and a judge. He began his illustrious career in figure skating at a young age, becoming the junior champion in 1918 and winning a silver medal in pair skating with Clara Frothingham at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Throughout the early 1920s, Badger continued to excel, earning men's titles at the U.S. Nationals from 1920 to 1924.
