Sherwood C. Spring

Sherwood C. Spring, born on September third, nineteen forty-four, is a distinguished retired United States Army colonel and former NASA astronaut. With a remarkable career that spans both military and space exploration, Spring has made significant contributions to aeronautics and human spaceflight.

Throughout his illustrious career, Spring has logged an impressive one hundred sixty-five hours in space, including twelve hours dedicated to conducting spacewalks. His expertise extends beyond the cosmos, as he has accumulated over three thousand five hundred hours of flight time across twenty-five different military and civilian aircraft, with more than one thousand five hundred hours spent piloting jet aircraft.

In addition to his professional achievements, Spring is a devoted family man.
