Shin Kyuk-ho

Shin Kyuk-ho, born on November 3, 1921, was a prominent Zainichi Korean entrepreneur and autobiographer, renowned for founding the Lotte Corporation, a major South Korean-Japanese conglomerate. His vision and business acumen propelled Lotte to become one of the largest chaebols in South Korea, significantly impacting the economy and culture of both nations.

During Japan's economic bubble from the 1980s to the 1990s, Shin achieved remarkable success, earning recognition as the fourth wealthiest individual globally according to Forbes in 1988.
