Shin Seung-chan

Shin Seung-chan, born on December sixth, nineteen ninety-four, is a distinguished South Korean badminton player specializing in doubles. Renowned for her remarkable defensive skills and powerful smashes, she has made a significant mark in the world of badminton.

Her career highlights include winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics with her partner Jung Kyung-eun. Shin has consistently ranked among the top players in the Badminton World Federation (BWF), achieving notable success alongside her long-time partner Lee So-hee. Together, they secured a silver medal at the 2021 BWF World Championships and a bronze at the 2014 edition.

Shin's early career was marked by exceptional talent, as she clinched gold medals at the BWF World Junior Championships in both 2011 and 2012, as well as at the 2012 Asian Junior Championships. Her contributions to the Korean national team were pivotal in their victory at the 2022 Uber Cup.
