Sibel Siber

Sibel Siber, born on December thirteenth, nineteen sixty, is a prominent Turkish Cypriot politician and physician. She made history by becoming the first woman to serve as the Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus, a position she held from June thirteenth to September second in the year two thousand thirteen. Her appointment followed a significant political shift marked by a vote of no confidence that led to the fall of İrsen Küçük's government.

In addition to her role as Prime Minister, Siber has also made her mark in the legislative arena. As of November two thousand fifteen, she was serving as the Speaker of Parliament in the Assembly of the Republic of Northern Cyprus. This achievement made her the second woman to hold this esteemed position, following in the footsteps of Fatma Ekenoğlu.
